FiiO has just introduced a slew of new products at its Guangzhou launch event. Headlining this event is the reveal of FiiO’s new flagship Android lossless audio player, the X7. The X7 features a custom high resolution music player app and an innovative chassis with user-exchangeable amp module. In addition to the X7, FiiO has also launched an entry-level digital audio player (M3), two DAC/headphone amplifiers (K1 & Q1), a desktop amplifier (K5), and the successor to the E6 Fujiyama headphone amplifier (A1).

FiiO X7 Lossless Audio Player

FiiO spent several years designing this new flagship high-resolution audio player. The result is an innovative and beautifully crafted product. A custom music player app was developed to bypass Android’s SRC software module that re-samples digital audio data. The X7’s music app will output bit-perfect audio with no quality loss. On the hardware side, the X7 has a CNC-machined chassis that houses a 4-inch display, a top-level ESS DAC (384 kHz/64 bit), and a removable amp module. The user-swappable amp module is an innovative feature for discriminating audiophiles. FiiO is working with third-party developers to offer amp modules that will tailor to a wide range of listener requirements.

This will be the first FiiO DAP with WiFi and Bluetooth capability. A powerful yet efficient quad-core CPU (ARM Cortex A9 by Rockchip) runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) along with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The X7 will come with a 3700 mAh battery good for 10+ hrs of continuous music play time, and a microSD slot that supports up to 128 GB of additional storage. Look for the the X7 to be available for purchase in December 2015.

UPDATE (Dec. 7, 2015): The X7 is now available for purchase at Micca Store.

FiiO A1 Headphone Amplifier

The A1 replaces FiiO’s bestselling E6 Fujiyama headphone amplifier. Output power has been increased slightly (130 mW from 100 mW). Look for the A1 to be available in early 2016.

UPDATE (May 2, 2016): The A1 is now available for purchase at Amazon.

FiiO Q1 Portable DAC and Headphone Amplifier

The Q1 is here to replace the E07K Andes portable DAC and headphone amplifier. The E07K has been around for several years and has quite the loyal following. FiiO looks to build upon that success by introducing a more portable form factor, along with a larger battery (1400 mAh vs. 1200 mAh) and premium TI DAC (PCM 5102). Like the E07K, the Q1 can be used for USB audio decoding. Look for the Q1 to be released in October 2015.

UPDATE (Oct. 25, 2015): The Q1 is available for purchase on Amazon.

FiiO K5 Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier

FiiO’s K5 is the long-awaited successor to the E09K desktop DAC and headphone amplifier. The K5 can dock with all the popular FiiO products: X1, X3 2nd Gen, X5 2nd Gen, X7, and E17K. Available in early 2016.

This little beauty will slot below the X1 and feature an attractive and easy-to-use user interface along with a long-lasting battery (24 hrs). Look for the M3 to be available in December 2015.
